DIABETIC REVIEWS

A full diabetic review can be carried out with a copy of the report for you and your GP.  This assessment will include a Doppler test to check blood supply, a neurological examination to test for loss of sensation, footwear advice, management plan and referrals if necessary.

BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENTS

Biomechanical assessments can be of great benefit to people from the elite sportsperson to the elderly with poor mobility. Our assessment looks at the whole body’s alignment and movement analysis from the head to the feet. This assessment can be particularly valuable if you have tried other avenues of treatment which haven’t resolved your pain, function and performance issues.  Functional and accommodative insoles can be prescribed

ORTHOTICS

Prescription Orthotics (commonly called “orthosis or insoles”) are devices manufactured from a cast of your foot with accurate corrections that help eliveate pain caused by biomechanical problems.

They can be classed as functional or accommodative and can reduce or even eliminate pain from many conditions including plantar fasciitis, fallen arches and corns to name a few.

MEDICO-LEGAL SERVICES

We have experience at dealing with medico-legal cases in respect of; assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, quantum and treatment.

With clear instruction from the client, any of the above can be actioned and documentation from short letters to detailed reports, suitable for court, can be produced. We are happy to perform any treatments or supply orthotics which may be necessary.

If however input is necessary beyond my skills and expertise, appropriate guidance and advice will be furnished to the commissioning agent.
